Mindful Transformation

I approach therapy from a foundation in mindfulness. In if we want to work on negative thinking patterns or narratives we must first have the ability to notice thoughts. In order to improve self-care we must first notice body signals. In order to cease unwanted behaviors we must notice changes in our nervous system the precede those behaviors. My therapy approach is one of fostering compassion, first towards self, then by extension towards others. I assist people in zooming out from the stories we make to judge others, ourselves and our world to see things from a more grounded place. It’s my privilege to help each client find their path to a more embodied, present, and grounded life.
